Description of the Partial Flex® Prosthesis manufacture in the dental laboratory
The manufacturing process of the prosthesis made from Partial Flex material is described in the following:

- Taking impression of the affected part of the jaws or maxilla
- Impression sent to the laboratory
- Block the gypsum model
- Duplicate the model
- Articulate the model
- Wax the model
- Enflask the model
- Remove the wax by a melting process
- Cool down the flask and apply the sealant Seal Flex
- Preheating the Partial Flex tube in the oven for 13 min at 260°C
- Inject the prosthesis Partial Flex material into the mould
- Let plastify for 15 min at room temperature
- Take our of gypsum mold
- Adjust the prosthesis, check occlusal bite
- Complete by finishing process including polishing and shining
- Send to treating dentist
PARTIAL FLEX® Resin
Directions for use with the PARTIAL FLEX® Manual Machine.
Indication for Use:The Partial Flex® Resin is a product used to produce temporary flexible Partial and full prosthesis. To increase the "standard" mix with metal.
Contraindications:
Partial Flex® is a provisional Material
Do not use more than 12 hours
Never use as a unilateral prosthesis. Use a bilateral framework design ALWAYS.
Warnings:
When using the Partial Flex® Manual Machine extreme caution must be used to avoid skin contact with the oven, portatubes, hot flask .Always use heat resistant industrial gloves with rating of least 300ºC.
Precautions:
When polishing a Partial Flex® restoration , mask ,ventilation and vacuum systems should be used.
Use the heating times to achieve the exactly base shade.
Adverse Reactions:
Particules will be generated when polishing a Partial Flex® restoration. Skin, Eyes and respiratory irritation may occur if appropriate safety precautions are not taken.
Heating:
Turn on the Partial Flex® oven with the portatubes pre lubricated with a silicon spray sleeve in place and set 260º C at least 30 minutes prior processing.
Using heat resistant industrial gloves spray a silicone spray before to insert the tube the green, red o blue point must be facing out. Insert the tube into the portatubes as far as possible and put the injection top.
Time:
Heating the tube for 13 minutes. DO NOT HEAT LONGER THAN 20 MINUTES MORE MINUTES OR MORE THAN 260 º TEMPERATURE WILL RESULT A DIFFERENT SHADE.
